Venice, Italy
Venice indeed was a magical place. Elijah couldn’t help but sip some wine as he took a gondola ride around the canals.

Tasting his way through Italy, Elijah went to Siena hoping to see The Palio, the medieval horse race run around the main square. But unfortunately he missed it, having set his calendar incorrectly.
Elijah loved Italian wines, so he had to go to Italy to taste some of his favorites. When he arrived in the Piazza Grande in Arezzo, he couldn’t help but think about the movie, “Life is Beautiful”, which was filmed there.
Seeing the Western Wall stirred many feelings within Elijah, and he was deeply disturbed by the wall that separates the men’s and women’s sides. He felt after so many generations it was time for Judaism to become fully egalitarian.
Seeing modern day Tel Aviv, Elijah knew that Israel was a happening place.
Seeing floats paragliding off the shores of Netanya, Israel, reminded Elijah that Israel is a country with lots of cool things happening there. He thought maybe he should stay for a while and get to know the country a bit better, since last time he lived there, there wasn’t running water or indoor plumbing.
The rugged beauty of the Negev Desert inspired Elijah. He thought back upon the legend of the Jews leaving Egypt as he surveyed the landscape.
The Dead Sea at sunrise was a magnificent sight. Elijah had to go there to see if what he heard was true: that one floats in the Dead Sea because of all the salt, and cannot sink.
Though no one was around, Elijah wandered about the ancient city of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great.
